  • Applications

    1) Email address, device specifications, location data

When you place an order for any of our products, the only piece of information we get about you is your location. This kind of information is given to us automatically by Google Play. We can use this data to provide you with the instructions on what payment methods are supported in your country whenever you are having any problems buying our apps.

When you contact us for support from your device, you may provide the information about its model, platform, and operating system version. We use this technical data to fully investigate the problems you report in order to reproduce and solve them as soon as possible.

You also voluntarily send us many useful suggestions and recommendations to improve our apps. We appreciate you doing so, as your ideas help us perfect our apps so that they better serve your needs. We store your feedback, altogether with your email addresses, in our Suggestions database to implement the features you are interested in in due course. When those requested features are added to our apps, we do our best to inform you about that as soon as possible.

    2) Personal information shared through social networks

We may get access to some sort of personal information you reveal when you share your photos to social networks through our apps, including, but not limited to, your name, place of birth, place of work, address, and your photo gallery. However, we don’t do that. We neither collect this information, nor use it in any other way.

    3) Location information (iOS apps)

The moment you allow our apps to access your photo albums, you allow them to access the EXIF data attached to your photos. Moreover, if the Location Services option is enabled on your device, you automatically make it possible for the apps to determine and track the precise real-time location of the device you are using. Though accessible, this personal data are neither used nor shared.

  • Website

We may collect some personal information through our website. It includes your first name, last name, email address, and a type of your device’s operating system. You provide this data when filling out the Support form on our website. We use the information we receive to fulfill your requests properly. When subscribing to our newsletters or press releases, you are asked to provide your email address for us to be able to notify you of the most important news, new apps releases, updates, and special offers.

To track our website’s traffic, we use Google Analytics — a technology offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about a website’s traffic. It is one of the most powerful digital analytics solutions available. Google Analytics shows us a full visitor picture across our website.

The information we collect through Google Analytics is presented in a form of text files stored on our system. They are called log files. Log files may contain the following information:

    • How many visitors are using our website at the moment.
    • How visitors get to our website (what page led them to our website, what search queries they typed into a search engine).
    • How much time visitors spent browsing through our website.
    • Who has visited our website recently, and how many of these are unique or repeat visitors;
    • How often repeat visitors come back to our website.
    • What other websites are referring visitors to ours.
    • Where our visitors are located geographically.
    • What language visitors speak.
    • What is the number of visitors who leave our website without going to other pages.
    • What kind of computers and browsers visitors use to get to our website.

The log files can not be assigned to specific persons. We do not combine the data we obtain with cookies or IP addresses. However, we reserve the right to evaluate this information retrospectively in individual cases if we have concrete indications for unlawful use. The log files help us understand what kind of computers our website is widely used on, and how to adjust its structure, servers, and database systems based on that.

By using Google Analytics, we can also launch marketing campaigns. With Google Analytics Remarketing, we are able to follow up with those visitors of our website who have showed at least some interest in our products and deliver relevant ad content to them. It may include additional ads for the products they expressed interest in, offers to buy some products at a discounted price, ads for other products in which they may get interested. If you wish not to receive interest-based ads, you may opt out by clicking (tapping) Settings for Google Ads.

Google Analytics uses “cookies” — small text files our website can send to your computer when you are moving through its webpages. The moment you start browsing through our website, your computer sends us your IP address, and cookies are put on your computer’s hard drive for us to be able to gather information about your activities on the website. That is done for the purpose of improving the website’s user experience and performance. You can always refuse the use of cookies by setting your browser to reject them. Detailed information on Google Analytics can be found here: Google Privacy Policy.

  • Emailing

When investigating the problems you reported, we sometimes ask you to send us your original photos as well as some screenshots or videos illustrating what is wrong with one of our apps. Thanks to them, we get a more comprehensive idea of what is going on and at the same time obtain the object for testing. We keep this data for some time to have it accessible in case you inform us that the same issues start reproducing again. We would like to assure you that the multimedia you provide for that purpose is used only by those team members who are responsible for reproducing and solving the problems and is stored temporarily. It is not shared to anybody else. We keep it safe and secure.

We often carry out survey campaigns and send you conversational forms. The tool we use for that is Typeform. The information you provide through those forms is very important for us. It allows us to learn more about our customers, better understand their photo-editing needs to be able to meet them in the best possible way by means of our apps, find out strong and weak points of our apps, etc. The data we collect is for our personal use only. We do not share it to anybody else – it’s for our internal use only.

Your personal information and data files are stored on ADVA Soft’s servers and in our Support database. Some of the information is stored temporarily, and then it is deleted.

We store your personal data for as long as we need it to fulfill your requests or deliver customer service of a high level. You have a legal right to request information about the data stored by us at any time. If, despite our efforts to maintain accurate and up to date, we keep some incorrect details about you, we will correct them as soon as possible at your request. For example, we limit access to this information only to authorized team members who need to know that information in order to operate, develop, or improve our applications or website or who we believe reasonably needs to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. By doing so, we show that we highly respect your privacy. If we intend to process your data for a purpose other than outlined above, we will inform you of that.
